The presence of pets in the home can be a hidden contributor to mental health symptoms. PsyMed Consulting offers expert mental health evaluation and treatment by a trained psychiatrist and veterinary behavior consultant.
Your PsyMed consultation will be performed with kindness, skill, confidentiality, non-judgment and integrity. We use open-ended questions and active listening to best understand your environment, and we use cognitive and motivational techniques to help you develop helpful insights and habits. Our goal is to provide you with valuable, evidence-based feedback that you can use right away.
Though you are free to explore any topic in our consultation, common themes in our consultations include:

Silver Tier
$200/month (minimum 6 months)
- Initial human mental health evaluation (one hour)
- Initial pet behavioral health evaluation (one hour)
- Monthly mental health follow-up visit with physician (20 minutes)
- Monthly behavioral health follow-up visit with veterinarian (20 minutes)
Gold Tier
$300/month (minimum 6 months)
- Initial human mental health evaluation (one hour)
- Initial pet behavioral health evaluation (one hour)
- Biweekly (every two weeks) mental health follow-up visits with physician (20 minutes)
- Biweekly (every two weeks) behavioral health follow-up visits with veterinarian (20 minutes)
Platinum Tier
$350/month (minimum 3 months)
- Initial human mental health evaluation (one hour)
- Initial pet behavioral health evaluation (one hour)
- Weekly mental health follow-up visits with physician (20 minutes)
- Weekly behavioral health follow-up visits with veterinarian (20 minutes)
Diamond Tier
$400/month (no minimum time required)

Pet Assessment
Just like humans, pets experience psychological and physical stress. In small doses, that stress is vital to their ability to survive. But when stress is too great, or goes on for too long, pet health begins to suffer.
